Consistency between data is pretty good. There is no problem with department data FTE and faculty. Some of total costing is okay and some is inconsistent. The department profile. Is it department or school data only data are for the school itself and this is not enough Dont know where the data come from. The data are unreliable. The data on the web is not useable not representative. Delaware reports didnt help. Grant reporting has problems double counting new grants are by projectnot fiscal year. Manual link PS with other accounts. Faculty activity reports are NOT working well. Different formats between units makes reporting difficult. Student and student credit hour reports we have the workload on floppy and spreadsheets. Numbers reported are not being used and they are inconsistent. Graduate student problems counting them and inconsistent workload. No way to link directly to system. Conceptual problems with reporting. It takes too long to make a decision on whether a student is admitted or not. Research reporting is clearly wrong. What is spent where should show this in reporting. Need to report what grants are doing in transaction. PS should give some way of identifying state, federal, internal or external numbers sources what are the reported numbers to be used for. Need a way to correct PS for grant reporting. Need standard way to figure FTE equivalent. I would like to have several years back of data need a data warehouse. It is hard to confirm that aggregated data were correct. Give real time access to applicant in database. Security in some cases need more and in others less need more ability to look at things but less people having ability to change things. Have access and security in one place. Better linkage between people and data. Need a process for updating. Updating of data is needed. Need to remember that we serve students and we should do it.
