˿app initiates nationwide search for ˿appSL chancellor; announces search committee members

COL˿appBIA, Mo. – ˿app President Mun Choi today announced the start of a nationwide search for the position of chancellor of the University of Missouri-St. Louis. The search will be led by the ˿app System HR Executive Recruitment team.  

Following nominations by ˿appSL constituency groups, Choi named 19 members to the search committee. Beth Huebner, professor of criminology and criminal justice, and Kirk Richter, alumni board member and a member of the Chancellor’s Council, will chair the search committee.

“The ˿app System’s commitment to the state could not be completed without the University of Missouri-St. Louis,” Choi said. “˿appSL’s focus on student success, its community engagement and its commitment to improving lives are priorities that will attract a broad, high-quality pool of candidates from a national audience. I’m excited for the future of ˿appSL, the future of the St. Louis region and the future of the state of Missouri. Every university within the ˿app System is vital for helping the state move forward and tackle grand challenges.”
